Sighing, Green shut his door and walked out into the crisp, cold night. The stars glistened and shimmered in the sky as he walked along the trail, heading towards his regular walking route. Looking up at the stars, he suddenly heard the noise of someone, or something behind him, and slowly turned around, looking for any sign of life.

A night peaceful night it was. She wasn’t quite used to the cold and the fact that she wasn’t wearing a sweater didn’t help her situation at all. She could feel the goosebumps rise on her skin as the coldness of the night swept around her. Engulfing her completely. As she walked along the path she was on she saw someone up ahead. Someone out at this time? It wasn’t exactly normal..but wasn’t on a scale of abnormal either. She quickened her steps catching up to the person quickly. She stopped only a few steps away from them as they turned around facing her. ” …Ah I’m sorry if I startled you.. ” She quietly mumbled.
